Background

Clarendon Road has been a private road for several decades now. As a private road, responsibility for its upkeep has always rested with the residents rather than the local authority. The Clarendon Road Fund was formally established to provide a structured and transparent way of collecting and managing contributions from households, ensuring maintenance costs are shared equitably and funds are available when works are needed.

How the fund is governed

The fund is managed by a committee of two resident volunteers who will meet from time to time to review the condition of the road, agree on any works required, approve expenditure, and set the annual contribution level.
All fund members are welcome to attend meetings and raise any issues which may be relevant. Notice of meetings will be circulated by email in advance and posted on here.

Road Fund Catchment

The Road fund encompasses those residents who access the southern end of Clarendon Road. Participation is voluntary and greatly appreciated. More information can be found on the portal.
